Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists is pleased to offer therapy & rehabilitation at two new Acadiana locations, New Iberia & Youngsville.

Orthopedic Urgent Care

OUC specializes in the treatment of both major and minor orthopedic injuries and chronic conditions in adults and children. No appointment is necessary. Regular office co-pays. NO FACILITY FEES, saving you money. We are open 6 days a week.

Robotic Spine Surgery

Minimally invasive robotic spine surgery combines your surgeon’s understanding of anatomy with x-ray imaging to treat spine conditions using small incisions. A minimally invasive technique permits the surgeons at Louisiana Orthopedic Specialists to separate the muscles surrounding the spine rather than cut through them.

Anterior Approach for Hip Replacement

The fellowship-trained surgeons at Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists provide our patients with the distinct advantage of cumulative team experience in performing Anterior Hip Replacements. This total joint procedure has proven to significantly improve early outcomes and decrease recovery time, allowing patients to return to a normal lifestyle.

Shoulder Procedures

Your shoulder is the most flexible joint in your body. It allows you to place and rotate your arm in many positions in front, above, to the side, and behind your body. This flexibility also makes your shoulder susceptible to instability and injury.

Spine Procedures

NEARLY 80% of the population will experience pain in the low back and/or neck at some time in their life. At Louisiana Orthopedic Specialists, we have built a team of some of the most highly trained back and neck specialists in the South to correctly diagnose, evaluate and treat patients dealing with back and neck injuries.

Total Joint Replacement

When our patients are injured, suffer from an illness or simply get older, the cartilage around their joints becomes damaged and the tissues around the joint become inflamed. With time, the cartilage wears away, allowing the rough edges of bone to rub against each other, causing even more pain. Our surgeons are often able to repair minor damage, but in more severe cases a total joint replacement is necessary.

In honor of our 10 year anniversary, we sat down with Dr. Adam Perry to talk about the history of Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists. We are excited to be celebrating our 10th anniversary and look forward to serving Acadiana for many more years.
