Seth Rosenzweig, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine; Arthroscopic & Joint Replacement Surgery. He completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the Campbell Clinic and Foundation in Memphis, TN and also completed a joint replacement fellowship at Tulane in New Orleans, LA. Today, he holds a Mako certification in hip, partial knee and total knee replacement surgeries. Outside of his practice here at Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Rosenzweig serves as the team physician for Iberia Parish high schools and as the assistant team physician for University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Dr. Rosenzweig completed separate residencies in adult and pediatric orthopedics at Tulane and Charity of New Orleans, Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, and the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and his Medical Degree from Tulane in 2002.
Dr. Rosenzweig is married to Julie DesOrmeaux of Abbeville and has seven children. He currently practices at our Lewis St. location in New Iberia, LA.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Seth. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The wait was a little long but that was mostly because I needed to fill out the paperwork. Dr. Seth was very nice and I really like him. I had an injection in my hip and the technician, Jeff (?), was great. I hardly felt it. So far, so good. Wow, what an incredible awesome experience. Very professional, caring & engaging staff. No long wait times. Was called back less than 10 minutes after my arrival & in time with my appointment. Dr Rosenweig listened to my issues then ordered the needed tests and made a justified decision on my care going forward. We made a plan of how to handle my case even with me have multiple issues. I really like Dr Rosenzweig. I was suffering with bone on bone knee pain for many months. I finally decided to have a total knee replacement but was very nervous about it. He assured me that everything would be fine and that I would heal with no problem. I was worried because of my medical history that I wouldn't heal in a decent amount of time. I healed a lot quicker than I thought I would and I didn't have any complications from the surgery at all.

Dr. Seth is always very nice, he doesn’t pressure you into anything he gives you opinions and let’s you decide what to do when your ready. He took care of my son years ago when he shattered the heal of his foot, so when I started having problems he was the only one I wanted to take care of me.

Dr. Seth did my rotator cuff surgery my experience was wonderful I had pain for about two days and was pain free the whole recovery time which was not very long with therapy. Therapy went very well. I love Dr. Seth. He's always smiling and seems like he genuinely cares for his patients. I recently lost my job and my insurance and had to go on medicaid, although he does not usually take medicaid, he said that he would take it so I can still be able to stay under his care. This is the most kind-hearted surgeon I have ever been to in my entire life. He is very kind and caring. I would rate him a 10 if there was that option that's how good he is. I really love this man, he's done a lot of work on my body through the past several years, and I am now 73 and in pretty good shape healthier.
