Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists to Merge Established Practices; Welcomes Thomas J. Montgomery, MD and Peter D. Vizzi, MD
LAFAYETTE, LA, March 22, 2021 – Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists (“LOS”) today announced the addition of two well-respected orthopedic specialists in Dr. Thomas J. Montgomery and Dr. Peter D. Vizzi. The two physicians bring a combined 50 years of orthopedic experience to complement the comprehensive team at LOS.

Dr. Peter D. Vizzi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience as an orthopedic physician. He specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the upper and lower extremities, total joint replacement and is ROSA certified for robotic knee replacement.
Dr. Thomas J. Montgomery is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult reconstructive surgery (ROSA certified for robotic knee replacement), arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine. Dr. Montgomery has provided excellent care and treatment to patients across Acadiana since 1994.
Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists expects the merger of the two practices to be completed towards the end of the month. The Camellia clinic marks the sixth location for LOS across Acadiana.
